Alan Cruises into Spring feeling GREAT!

Somethings working, bc I’m down 20 pounds. This whole journey was started with the realization that I’m turning 50 this year in August. Most years start with a resolution and we all know where they end up, a memory by February, so I chose to make a commitment, I call it 50 4 50. I commit to lose 50 pounds in the year I turn 50, seems a bit more serious than a resolution doesn’t it? Together with the classes and now the nutrition aspect, it seems like things are headed in the right direction for sure and that’s down in weight. Classes are burning anywhere from 600 to 900 calories per class and the tracking of my nutrition is painting a terrific picture of good days and bad days and where and when my pitfalls appear. Tracking has become second nature, haven’t missed a day yet. Everything is entered, everything, water, food, snacks, meals. I’ve found that accountability is huge and Lisa stays right on top of it. She’s been able to log into my account and see good habits and areas where I need to work on. A few follow up visits and a few emails of encouragement are great to keep the motivation and momentum going.

As Ox says “ you can’t miss an Iron class” I guess you can say I’m hooked. It’s been about three months now and I’m finding myself doing double classes, lots of folks do it so I figured I would give it a try. Crazy right, if you look back at my first entry, I was afraid of just coming to a boot camp class now I’m doing back to back classes?Oh and those sliders I hated at the beginning, yeah I still hate them but I’m able to do things that I couldn’t do when I started. Progress is great to see and still headed in the right direction, officially down 25lbs. As for the commitment halfway there!
